Get Ready for Disclosure: What You Need to Know
Time flies and Disclosure is just a few days away (September 2 from 9:00am–6:00pm PDT)!
Everyone involved is looking forward to experiencing this event together and, to make sure it is a safe environment for all participants, please take a quick look at the code of conduct. Content will be available on-demand after it debuts, but Q&A with the speaker and chat with fellow viewers will not be available when viewing on-demand.
If you’ve already registered, it’s time to login and get familiar with the event. You will be prompted to use a one-time passcode (OTP) to securely log-in each time. If you have trouble accessing the platform day of, you can contact us for support at disclosureconf@okta.com.
How to Use the Disclosure Event Platform
Step 1: When you first login, you will be prompted to set up your profile (which you have complete control over!). Some items, such as your nickname, will be pre-populated based on data collected during registration. You can do a variety of things from here, including uploading a profile picture; toggle on/off profile and notification settings (shown below); and select to make your profile private or public. By opting into event notifications you’ll stay up-to-date with event related announcements, inform you of a chat message from another attendee, and keep you in the loop.
Pro Tip: Save time and sync your profile picture to your LinkedIn account.
Step 2: Next, you’ll be shown proper browser settings so you can see and hear our video sessions. Make any adjustments if needed.
Step 3: Next, you’ll be prompted to answer a few questions that are collected solely to enhance your networking experience and get connected to like-minded individuals in the event platform.
Pro Tip: If you’re not interested in networking, you can skip them.
Step 4: After completing these 3 steps, you will land on the main event dashboard. This will be your starting point to access all of the keynotes, breakout sessions, resources, and networking chat rooms.
Pro Tip: Return here at any time by clicking “Dashboard” at the top left-side navigation menu.
Step 5: Explore the event platform and even click on the “Agenda” tab in the left navigation bar to see which sessions interest you.
Pro Tip: If you “heart” a session, you can reference your custom picks by clicking “My Agenda” on the left-side navigation.
And, if you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time. Click here to save your spot.
Cheers and we’re looking forward to seeing you at the event! And, as always, never hesitate to reach out to the team with your questions.
